The next La Liga games for Espanyol are Las Palmas (away) on 22 December, Espanyol (home) on 11 January and Real Valladolid (home) on 17 January. Valencia play Deportivo Alavés (home) on 22 December, Real Madrid (home) on 3 January and Sevilla (away) on 11 January.

Javi Puado’s first-half goal put Espanyol ahead 1-0 against Valencia in their La Liga home clash. However, Valencia staged a comeback in the second half, with Diego López netting the equalizer. The game ended in a 1-1 draw.

It leaves Espanyol in 18th place and Valencia anchored at the bottom, in 20th.

Straight after the break, Diego López found the net and equalised for Valencia.

Espanyol took the lead just before half time as Javi Puado netted, with an assist by Antoniu Roca.

It was Valencia’s fourth game in a row without a win.
