United States silenced Türkiye when Auston Trusty netted in the third minute, with an assist from Sebastian Berhalter.
Türkiye equalised to 1-1 early in the match when Arda Güler made his mark as he found the net set up by Barış Alper Yılmaz in the 10th minute.
Türkiye took the lead after more than half an hour’s play as Barış Alper Yılmaz applied the finishing touch supplied by Orkun Kökçü.
Straight after the break Sebastian Berhalter found the net and equalised for United States.
The deciding goal came in stoppage time when Kaan Ayhan scored for Türkiye.
