In the 69th minute, Wesley increased the lead for Roma, with an assist by Stephan El Shaarawy.
The goal that reduced the score to 3-1 came in stoppage time, when Francesco Folino found the net for Cremonese, with an assist by Franco Vázquez.
Cremonese’s next Serie A games are against Bologna (away) on 1 December, Cremonese (home) on 7 December and Torino (away) on 13 December. Roma play Napoli (home) on 30 November, Cagliari (away) on 7 December and Como (home) on 15 December.
With a resounding 3-1 victory over Cremonese away at Stadio Giovanni Zini, Roma have surged to the top of the Serie A standings after 12 games, edging ahead of Milan by two points. Cremonese currently resides in 11th place in the league.
