The game at Sparta-Stadion Het Kasteel against Sparta Rotterdam finished 1-1 and was RKC Waalwijk’s eighth in a row without a win in the Eredivisie.
RKC Waalwijk started the match well and took the lead when Oskar Zawada netted after 10 minutes, with an assist by Richonell Margaret, making it 1-0.
Sparta Rotterdam equalised to make it 1-1, as Saïd Bakari found the net, with an assist by Camiel Neghli, in the 24th minute. The teams were unable to score in the second half and the game ended 1-1.
The result means Sparta Rotterdam stay in 16th place and RKC Waalwijk are anchored at the bottom, in 18th.
