Portugal secured a win at Houston Stadium against Uzbekistan in the World Cup. The match concluded with a 5-0 scoreline, with the first half ending 3-0.
Portugal started the match well and took the lead early when Cristiano Ronaldo got on the scoresheet after six minutes making it 1-0 assisted by João Cancelo.
Portugal also increased their lead to 2-0 as Nuno Mendes in the 17th minute.
Portugal increased their lead to 3-0 when Cristiano Ronaldo scored again. This time he converted supplied by Bruno Fernandes in the 39th minute.
4-0 came through an own-goal in the 60th minute.
Portugal scored once more, this time through Rafael Leão in the 87th minute.
The next World Cup game for Portugal is Colombia on 28 June. Uzbekistan play Congo DR on 28 June.
