Duro Perales got the decider when Valencia sink Real Sociedad

The first-half goal from Duro Perales was the only goal of the game. Valencia won 1-0 at home to Real Sociedad in the La Liga.

Valencia took an early lead when Hugo Duro netted after 26 minutes, making it 1-0.

It was the first victory for Valencia after seven games in a row without a win.

The result leaves Valencia in 19th place, while Real Sociedad are in seventh place.

Valencia’s next La Liga games are against FC Barcelona (away) on 26 January, Valencia (home) on 2 February and Leganés (home) on 9 February. Real Sociedad play Getafe (home) on 26 January, Osasuna (away) on 2 February and Espanyol (home) on 9 February.
