A football drama unfolded at Brentford as they entertained Manchester City in the Premier League, the clash concluding in a 2-2 draw.

Brentford’s next Premier League games are against Liverpool (home) on 18 January, Crystal Palace (away) on 26 January and Tottenham Hotspur (home) on 2 February. Manchester City play Ipswich Town (away) on 19 January, Chelsea (home) on 25 January and Arsenal (away) on 2 February.

The first half finished 0-0 and it took until the 66th minute before P. Foden netted, with an assist by Kevin De Bruyne, to give Manchester City the lead.

The result leaves Brentford in 10th place, while Manchester City are in sixth place.
