A stellar showing by Celta de Vigo saw them score two goals and shut out Athletic Club in the La Liga clash at Estadio de Balaídos. The home team secured a dominant 2-0 win to claim victory.
The first half was goalless, but straight after half-time, Williot Swedberg made his mark as he netted, with an assist by Javi Rueda, to give Celta de Vigo the lead.
In the 55th minute, J. El Abdellaoui increased the lead for Celta de Vigo.
Celta de Vigo are now in eighth place, while Athletic Club are in seventh place.
