Arsenal’s winning run ended after game against Sunderland

Arsenal’s run of five straight wins in the Premier League ended away to Sunderland. Saturday’s game at Stadium of Light finished 2-2.

It was Daniel George Ballard who opened the scoring for Sunderland in the 36th minute of the goalless match, with an assist by Nordi Mukiele.

In the 54th minute, Bukayo Saka  equalised for Arsenal, with an assist by Mikel Merino.

Leandro Trossard gave Arsenal the lead in the 74th minute with an assist by Martín Zubimendi.

The equaliser came in extra time, when Brian Brobbey netted for Sunderland, with an assist by Daniel George Ballard.

So, Sunderland are still in fourth place and Arsenal are on top.

Sunderland play Fulham on 22 November, AFC Bournemouth on 29 November and Liverpool (away) on 3 December. Arsenal’s next opponents are Tottenham Hotspur on 23 November, Chelsea on 30 November and Brentford (home) on 3 December.
