Arsenal’s unbeaten run extended after 2-2 to Crystal Palace

Arsenal enjoyed a great game in the Premier League and their eighth game in a row without defeat came at home to Crystal Palace. The game finished 2-2.

Arsenal were quickest out of the blocks, and went 1-0 up when Jakub Kiwior netted in the third minute on a pass from Martin Ødegaard.

Crystal Palace equalised to make it 1-1, as Eberechi Eze found the net, with an assist by Adam Wharton, in the 27th minute.

Arsenal took the lead just before the half-time whistle as Leandro Trossard scored, with an assist by Jurrien Timber.

The result means the fourth game in a row without a win for Crystal Palace.

With four games remaining, Arsenal are in second place in the table and Crystal Palace are in 12th.

Seven minutes left to play, Crystal Palace’s Jean-Philippe Mateta equalised.

The next Premier League games for Arsenal are AFC Bournemouth (home) on 3 May, Liverpool (away) on 11 May and Newcastle United (home) on 18 May. Crystal Palace play Nottingham Forest (home) on 5 May, Tottenham Hotspur (away) on 11 May and Wolverhampton Wanderers (home) on 18 May.
