Algeria secured a victory at San Francisco Bay Area Stadium against Jordan in the World Cup. The match ended with a final score of 2-1, following a 0-1 first half score.
In the 69th minute Nadhir Benbouali equalised for Algeria with an assist by Riyad Mahrez.
Jordan’s next World Cup game is against Argentina on 28 June. Algeria play Austria on 28 June.
Jordan took the lead in the 36th minute thanks to a goal by Nizar Al-Rashdan supplied by Mousa Tamari, ending the goalless stretch.
