Young Boys’ Woes Deepen with Another Loss, This Time Against Celtic

It has been a long time since Young Boys claimed a victory in the Champions League and Wednesday’s away match to Celtic did not change things. The match finished 1-0 at Celtic Park and was Young Boys’ seventh game in a row without a win.

In the 86th minute, Celtic made it 1-0 through an own-goal.

Celtic’s Daizen Maeda was sent off in the 89th minute.

With one game remaining, Celtic are in 18th place in the table while Young Boys are in 36th.

The next Champions League game for Celtic is Aston Villa (away) on 29 January. Young Boys play Crvena Zvezda (home) on 29 January.
