Villarreal emerged victorious in the game on Saturday at Estadio de la Cerámica against Mallorca. The La Liga game finished 2-1.
Villarreal scored the first goal when Gerard Moreno netted after 6 minutes, with an assist by Ayoze Pérez, making it 1-0.
Mallorca equalised to 1-1 early in the match when Samú Costa made his mark as he found the net, with an assist by Pablo Torre, just two minutes later later.
With seven minutes left to play, Villarreal’s T. Oluwaseyi scored the decider.
Villarreal have now won four games in a row.
It leaves Villarreal in third place and Mallorca in 16th.
