The only goal of the game came from Fadera in the second half in Sassuolo’s victory in the Serie A, as they beat Lazio 1-0 at home.
The first half finished 0-0 and it took until the 70th minute before Alieu Fadera netted, with an assist by Tarik Muharemović, to make it 1–0 for Sassuolo, which was how the game ended.
Looking at the table, we find Sassuolo in 11th place, while Lazio are in 14th place.
“We did far too little to win it. At certain points we had it under control but we were slow in our play.” Lazio assistant Ianni said after Maurizio Sarri left due to family reasons.
“We created far too little. Lazio must do more; it is a pity to have disappointed the fans who came in large numbers,” he added.
