Roma and Juventus collided in a Serie A fixture that lived up to the hype, producing a 3-3 draw.

It was Wesley who opened the scoring for Roma in the 39th minute of the goalless match, with an assist by Niccolò Pisilli.

Straight after the break, Francisco Conceição scored and equalised for Juventus.

In the 54th minute, Evan Ndicka gave Roma the lead, with an assist by Lorenzo Pellegrini.

Donyell Malen also increased the lead for Roma in the 65th minute, with an assist by Manu Koné.

Jérémie Boga reduced the score for Juventus in the 78th minute.

The equaliser came in stoppage time, when Federico Gatti netted for Juventus.

The game was the fourth in a row without a win for Juventus.

It leaves Roma in fourth place and Juventus in sixth.

“We were in the right positions, but our season is full of these situations in the final minutes, where teams like Juve, Milan, Inter and Napoli manage to get games back on track in the final minutes or even stoppages,” Roma boss, Gasperini said following the disappointing draw.

Roma play Genoa on 8 March, Como on 15 March and Lecce (home) on 22 March. Juventus’ next opponents are Pisa on 7 March, Udinese on 14 March and Sassuolo (home) on 21 March.
