Real Madrid extend La Liga lead with resounding 2-1 win against FC Barcelona

Real Madrid started the match best and took the lead when Kylian Mbappé  netted after 22 minutes, with an assist by Jude Bellingham , making it 1-0.

FC Barcelona’s Pedri was sent off in the 90th minute.

Real Madrid have now won five straight at home games.

FC Barcelona equalised to make it 1-1, as Fermín López found the net, with an assist by Marcus Rashford, in the 38th minute.

League leaders Real Madrid continue to impress. The team won 2-1 at home in the top-of-the-table clash against second-placed FC Barcelona. This means the team has extended their lead in the La Liga and are now five points clear of FC Barcelona.

Real Madrid took the lead just before the half-time whistle as Jude Bellingham  scored, with an assist by Éder Militão. The teams were unable to score in the second half and the game ended with a 2-1 win for Real Madrid.

Real Madrid’s Andriy Lunin was sent off in the 90th minute.

The next La Liga games for Real Madrid are Valencia (home) on 2 November, Rayo Vallecano (away) on 9 November and Elche (away) on 23 November. FC Barcelona play Elche (home) on 2 November, Celta de Vigo (away) on 9 November and Athletic Club (home) on 23 November.
