Saturday’s Eredivisie fixture saw PSV triumph over PEC Zwolle in a captivating away encounter. With an initial lead of 2-0, PSV extended their advantage to secure a 4-0 victory.

It was PEC Zwolle’s sixth game in a row without a win.

PSV scored the first goal when Ismael Saibari netted after 23 minutes, with an assist by Couhaib Driouech, making it 1-0.

In the 40th minute Dennis Man increased the lead for PSV with an assist by Joey Veerman.

Joey Veerman also increased the lead for PSV in the 67th minute, with an assist by Dennis Man.

PEC Zwolle’s Tristan Gooijer  was sent off in the 62nd minute.

PSV found the net once more, this time through Ryan Flamingo, with an assist by Esmir Bajraktarević, in the 90th minute.

PEC Zwolle’s next Eredivisie games are against NAC Breda (away) on 18 October, PEC Zwolle (home) on 25 October and Heracles Almelo (away) on 2 November. PSV play Go Ahead Eagles (home) on 18 October, Feyenoord (away) on 26 October and Fortuna Sittard (home) on 31 October.

For the home team, the results mean 16th place in the table. PSV are first in the league.
