PSV won 3-2 in clash at the top against Feyenoord

PSV claimed a fine win away to the league leader Feyenoord in the Eredivisie on Sunday. The match finished 3-2 and was a very important win in the race at the top.

The standings remain unchanged with Feyenoord remaining the league leaders and PSV are in second place.

The game was scoreless until Ismael Saibari found the net for PSV in the 30th minute, with an assist by Mauro Júnior.

Ismael Saibari also increased the lead for PSV in the 60th minute and then completed a hatrick.

PSV claimed a fourth consecutive win in the Eredivisie, while Feyenoord’s streak of three wins ended.

Straight after the break, Luciano Valente scored and equalised for Feyenoord.

Just a minute later, Ismael Saibari gave PSV the lead, with an assist by Guus Til.

Oussama Targhalline reduced the score for Feyenoord in the 73rd minute.

Ahead of Sunday’s game, Feyenoord had enjoyed a run of nine games without defeat.

Feyenoord’s next Eredivisie games are against FC Volendam (home) on 1 November, Go Ahead Eagles (away) on 9 November and NEC Nijmegen (home) on 23 November. PSV play Fortuna Sittard (home) on 31 October, AZ (away) on 9 November and NAC Breda (away) on 22 November.
