Paris Saint Germain Secures Convincing Win Over Bayer 04 Leverkusen On The Road

Away to Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the Champions League on Tuesday, Paris Saint Germain’s clinical display saw them secure a dominant 7-2 win.

Paris Saint Germain took an early lead when Willian Pacho netted after 7 minutes, with an assist by Nuno Mendes, making it 1-0.

Bayer 04 Leverkusen’s Robert Andrich was sent off in the 33rd minute.

Bayer 04 Leverkusen equalised to make it 1-1, as Aleix García made his mark with a penalty, in the 38th minute.

Paris Saint Germain took the lead just before the half-time whistle as Désiré Doué  found the net, with an assist by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Paris Saint Germain increased the lead to 3-1 just three minutes later as Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored.

Désiré Doué  scored one more time one minut later, with an assist by Achraf Hakimi, ensuring Paris Saint Germain increased the lead again, making it 4-1.

Paris Saint Germain’s Ousmane Dembélé  also increased the lead for Paris Saint Germain in the 66th minute, with an assist by Bradley Barcola.

Straight after the break, Nuno Mendes found the net and increased the team’s lead.

Just four minutes later later, Aleix García reduced the score for Bayer 04 Leverkusen, with an assist by Alejandro Grimaldo.

The 7-2 goal came in stoppage time, when Vitinha scored for Paris Saint Germain.

Bayer 04 Leverkusen play Benfica on 5 November, Manchester City on 25 November and Newcastle United (home) on 10 December. Paris Saint Germain’s next opponents are FC Bayern München on 4 November, Tottenham Hotspur on 26 November and Athletic Club (away) on 10 December.
