League leaders Arsenal continue to impress. With a 4-1 win at home against Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal recorded yet another victory. This means the team has extended their lead in the Premier League and the gap to second placed Chelsea is now six points. Tottenham Hotspur are in ninth place in the league.
Straight after the break, Eberechi Eze found the net and increased the team’s lead.
Arsenal play Chelsea on 30 November, Brentford on 3 December and Aston Villa (away) on 6 December. Tottenham Hotspur’s next opponents are Fulham on 29 November, Newcastle United on 2 December and Brentford (home) on 6 December.
Leandro Trossard scored in the 36th minute, with an assist by Mikel Merino, to give Arsenal the lead in a previously goalless match.
In the 41st minute Eberechi Eze increased the lead for Arsenal with an assist by Declan Rice.
Tottenham Hotspur’s Richarlison also reduced the score for Tottenham Hotspur in the 55th minute, with an assist by João Palhinha.
Eberechi Eze increased Arsenal’s lead with an assist by Leandro Trossard, in the 76th minute and then completed a hatrick.
