Pisa faced a challenge when they visited Cagliari in the Serie A, and the encounter lived up to expectations, concluding in a 2-2 draw.

Pisa took the lead in added-time in the first half when Matteo Tramoni made his mark with a penalty.

With 59 minutes on the clock, Cagliari’s Michael Folorunsho found the net following a Gabriele Zappa assist to equalise.

Semih Kılıçsoy gave Cagliari the lead in the 71st minute with an assist by Gianluca Gaetano.

The equaliser came in the final minutes, when Stefano Moreo netted for Pisa, with an assist by Mehdi Léris.

Cagliari remains in 15th place and Pisa is in 19th.

Cagliari play Torino on 27 December, Milan on 2 January and Cremonese (away) on 8 January. Pisa’s next opponents are Juventus on 27 December, Genoa on 3 January and Como (home) on 6 January.
