Milan got the better of Parma at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza

Milan emerged victorious in the game on Sunday, at home at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza against Parma. The Serie A game finished 3-2.

Parma started the match best and took the lead early when Matteo Cancellieri netted after 24 minutes, with an assist by Emanuele Valeri, making it 1-0.

Milan equalised to make it 1-1, when Christian Pulisic made his mark with a penalty, in the 38th minute.

Enrico Del Prato gave Parma the lead in the 80th minute.

“For me, all players are important, like a family. If I have a son who misbehaves, I tell him. And here it’s the same. There’s no hypocrisy,” Sérgio Conceição said following the comeback win, which featured a heated argument with Davide Calabria after the game.

The equaliser came in extra time, when Tijjani Reijnders found the net for Milan, with an assist by Yunus Musah.

“We tell each other things like men. True, it wasn’t nice, but that’s normal in football; we’re not in church,” he added.

The deciding goal came in extra time, when Samuel Chimerenka Chukwueze scored for Milan, with an assist by Strahinja Pavlović, to complete Milan’s come back.

Milan’s next Serie A games are against Inter (home) on 2 February, Empoli (away) on 9 February and Hellas Verona (home) on 16 February. Parma play Lecce (home) on 31 January, Cagliari (away) on 9 February and Roma (home) on 16 February.
