Mallorca Steals Late Draw off Sevilla in Thrilling Match

Last Updated on February 25, 2025

La Liga presented an exciting match to the audience as Mallorca and Sevilla experienced a thrilling game until the last whistle. Sevilla scored the opening goal just before half-time when Kike Salas drove it home, courtesy of Isaac Romero’s assist. It provided Sevilla with that precious cushion, leaving Mallorca with a mountain to climb in front of their home fans.

During the second half, a revitalized Mallorca team would emerge intent on getting back into the match. They bombarded Sevilla’s defense line with wave after wave of attacks. As the clock ticked with the restart, it was nearly tangible that time left behind was still minimal, with Mallorca’s wannabe point dwindling gradually. This would incite in-live betting like a few others for Singaporean betting enthusiasts as they would alternate from one team to another.

Just when it seemed Sevilla would take the game, it resulted in stoppage time. It was difficult for Mallorca, held hostage by Martin Valjent, who stepped up and struck back with an equalizer. The ground shook as home supporters celebrated a hard-fought point. That late goal was sufficient to propel Mallorca against all odds-and it rattled some consciousnesses into the La Liga table, no oversight for the astute Singaporean gamblers.

The 1-1 stalemate puts Sevilla in 11th position and Mallorca in 8th. Both sides now look to their next games. Sevilla’s return campaign will have them traveling to Rayo Vallecano on March 1, Real Sociedad on March 9, and Athletic Club on March 16.  Mallorca has Deportivo Alavés in their next game on March 2, then traveling to Athletic Club on March 9, and this weekend at home hosting Espanyol on March 16.
