Liverpool got the better of Newcastle United at St. James’ Park

Liverpool emerged victorious in the game on Monday, away at St. James’ Park against Newcastle United. The Premier League game finished 3-2.

Liverpool broke the deadlock in the 35th minute with a goal from Ryan Gravenberch, with an assist by Cody Gakpo.

Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon was sent off in the 45th minute.

Straight after the break, Hugo Ekitiké found the net and increased the team’s lead.

With 57 minutes on the clock, Newcastle United’s Bruno Guimarães found the net following a Tino Livramento assist to pull one back for Newcastle United.

The equaliser came in the final minutes, when William Osula netted for Newcastle United.

The deciding goal came in extra time, when R. Ngumoha scored for Liverpool, with an assist by Mohamed Salah.

The result leaves Liverpool in third place, while Newcastle United are in 15th place.
