League leaders Liverpool continue to impress. With a 3-2 win away against Southampton, Liverpool recorded yet another victory. This means the team has extended their lead in the Premier League and the gap to second placed Manchester City is now eight points. Southampton are in 20th place in the league.
The match was goalless until Liverpool took the lead in the 30th minute through D. Szoboszlai, who netted.
Southampton equalised 1-1 just before the half-time whistle as Adam Armstrong found the net.

With seven minutes left to play, Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah scored the decider.
It means that Liverpool find themselves undefeated for the eighth game running.
‘Of course, we are really happy, especially because, after an hour, we were 2-1 down,’ Arne Slot said after the victory. ‘In the end, if you’re 2-1 down after an hour, you are maybe over the moon if you win 3-2,’ he added.
Southampton play Brighton & Hove Albion on 29 November, Chelsea on 4 December and Aston Villa (away) on 7 December. Liverpool’s next opponents are Manchester City on 1 December, Newcastle United on 4 December and Everton (away) on 7 December.
