Sparta Rotterdam triumphed with a 4-0 win over Willem II in Sunday’s Eredivisie clash on home turf at Sparta-Stadion Het Kasteel.
Sparta Rotterdam further increased the lead as Kristian Hlynsson found the net, with an assist by M. Kleijn, in the 90th minute.
Sparta Rotterdam took an early lead when Tobias Lauritsen netted after 20 minutes, with an assist by Nick Olij, making it 1-0.
With 63 minutes on the clock, Sparta Rotterdam’s Mitchell van Bergen found the net following a Kristian Hlynsson assist to double their lead.
Sparta Rotterdam play NAC Breda on 7 March, PEC Zwolle on 15 March and Fortuna Sittard (away) on 29 March. Willem II’s next opponents are FC Utrecht on 9 March, Go Ahead Eagles on 16 March and Almere City (home) on 29 March.
In the 68th minute, Tobias Lauritsen increased the lead for Sparta Rotterdam, with an assist by Mitchell van Bergen.
The result leaves Willem II in 15th place, while Sparta Rotterdam are in 16th place.
