Juventus defeat Inter in seven-goal thriller

In the 65th minute, Hakan Çalhanoğlu  equalised for Inter, with an assist by Piotr Zieliński.

Inter looked for a while to be the winners. Eight minutes left to play, Juventus’ Khéphren Thuram equalised, with an assist by Kenan Yıldız.

The deciding goal came in extra time, when Vasilije Adžić scored for Juventus, with an assist by Jonathan David.

Juventus scored the first goal when Lloyd Kelly netted after 14 minutes, with an assist by Bremer, making it 1-0.

Inter equalised to make it 1-1 after half an hour’s play as Hakan Çalhanoğlu  found the net, with an assist by Carlos Augusto.

Marcus Thuram gave Inter the lead with an assist by Federico Dimarco, in the 76th minute.

Juventus took the lead again, when Kenan Yıldız scored, with an assist by Bremer, in the 38th minute.

“Unfortunately, there are moments in the match, especially in the final 10 minutes, where we were lacking. Overall, we came here to take the initiative, play with character, try to win and not settle for less. We lacked sharpness and didn’t realise something different was required in the last few minutes.” Inter’s Christian Chivu said.

The next Serie A games for Juventus are Hellas Verona (away) on 20 September, Juventus (home) on 27 September and Milan (home) on 5 October. Inter play Sassuolo (home) on 21 September, Cagliari (away) on 27 September and Cremonese (home) on 4 October.

Juventus won with a goal to spare the game against Inter in the Serie A on Saturday. The team won 4-3 at Allianz Stadium.

The next Serie A games for Juventus are Hellas Verona (away) on 20 September, Juventus (home) on 27 September and Milan (home) on 5 October. Inter play Sassuolo (home) on 21 September, Cagliari (away) on 27 September and Cremonese (home) on 4 October.

The result means Juventus are now in second place in the table and that Inter are in 13th place.
