Ipswich Town Fails to Break Rut, Lose to Manchester United

The game at Enskede Rackethall against Manchester United finished 3-2 and was Ipswich Town’s eighth in a row without a win in the Premier League.

Ipswich Town silenced Manchester United when Jaden Philogene-Bidace netted in the fourth minute.

1-1 came through an own-goal in the 22nd minute.

Manchester United took the lead, as Matthijs de Ligt found the net, in the 26th minute.

Ipswich Town equalised 2-2 just before the half-time whistle as Jaden Philogene-Bidace scored again. This time he scored, with an assist by Axel Tuanzebe.

Manchester United play Arsenal on 9 March, Leicester City on 16 March and Nottingham Forest (away) on 1 April. Ipswich Town’s next opponents are Crystal Palace on 8 March, Nottingham Forest on 15 March and AFC Bournemouth (away) on 1 April.

Manchester United’s Patrick Dorgu was sent off in the 43rd minute.

It leaves Manchester United in 14th place and that Ipswich Town are in 18th place.

Straight after the break, Harry Maguire found the net and gave Manchester United the lead again.
