Wednesday’s Eredivisie encounter saw SC Heerenveen claim a comprehensive 3-1 win over Go Ahead Eagles at De Adelaarshorst.
The first half finished 0-0 and it took until the 54th minute before Julius Dirksen netted, with an assist by Jakob Breum, to give Go Ahead Eagles the lead.
Just four minutes later later, Lasse Nordås equalised for SC Heerenveen.
With nine minutes left to play, SC Heerenveen’s Jacob Trenskow increased the lead, with an assist by Maxence Rivera, to complete SC Heerenveen’s come back.
Lasse Nordås also gave the team the lead in the 68th minute, with an assist by Maxence Rivera.
The result means the 10th game in a row without a win for Go Ahead Eagles.
SC Heerenveen are in ninth place after the game, while Go Ahead Eagles are in 14th.
Go Ahead Eagles play Feyenoord on 15 February, Heracles Almelo on 22 February and Excelsior (away) on 1 March. SC Heerenveen’s next opponents are PEC Zwolle on 15 February, PSV on 21 February and Sparta Rotterdam (home) on 28 February.
