Fiorentina Claims First Win in 15 Matches, Beating Udinese 5-1

Fiorentina’s resilience paid off in the Serie A as they secured a vital 5-1 win over Udinese, marking their first victory after a 15-game drought.

Udinese were left with a man down early on, when Maduka Okoye was sent off in the 7th minute.

Fiorentina took an early lead when Rolando Mandragora netted in the 21st minute, with an assist by Nicolò Fagioli, making it 1-0.

In the 42nd minute Albert Gudmundsson increased the lead for Fiorentina with an assist by Fabiano Parisi.

Cher Ndour made it 3-0 just three minutes later later as he found the net, with an assist by Nicolò Fagioli.

In the 56th minute, Moise Kean increased the lead for Fiorentina.

Udinese’s Oumar Solet also reduced the score for Udinese in the 66th minute, with an assist by Jakub Piotrowski.

Just two minutes later later, Moise Kean increased the lead for Fiorentina, with an assist by Dodô.

Fiorentina have finally ticked in the winning column.

Fiorentina play Parma on 27 December, Cremonese on 4 January and Lazio (away) on 7 January. Udinese’s next opponents are Lazio on 27 December, Como on 3 January and Torino (away) on 7 January.

Udinese are now in 12th place, while Fiorentina are in 20th and last place.
