Following their impressive 2-0 victory home at Stadion Feijenoord against Fortuna Sittard, Feyenoord now find themselves leading the Eredivisie standings after five games played, holding a slender three-point advantage over PSV. Fortuna Sittard currently sits in ninth place in the league.
Feyenoord took the lead just before half time as Ayase Ueda netted, with an assist by Oussama Targhalline.
With this win, Feyenoord have five straight victories.
It took until the 72nd minute before Aymen Sliti increased the lead with an assist by Quinten Timber.
Feyenoord now enjoy a three-game run without conceding a goal.
