FC Volendam now have four straight defeats.
Sparta Rotterdam beat FC Volendam 1-0 away in the Eredivisie. The only goal of the game came from Lauritsen in the second half.
It took until the 80th minute before Tobias Lauritsen gave Sparta Rotterdam the lead.
FC Volendam’s next Eredivisie games are against AZ (away) on 10 January, FC Volendam (home) on 18 January and Ajax (away) on 24 January. Sparta Rotterdam play Heracles Almelo (home) on 11 January, Feyenoord (away) on 18 January and FC Utrecht (away) on 25 January.
It leaves FC Volendam in 16th place and Sparta Rotterdam in 10th.
