In a thrilling encounter at Stadion Feijenoord on Sunday, FC Twente showcased their grit and determination, securing a valuable point against Feyenoord in the Eredivisie. The match ended in a 1-1 draw, with FC Twente displaying resilience away from home.
FC Twente took an early lead when Daan Rots netted in the 19th minute, with an assist by Bart van Rooij, making it 1-0.
It took until the 74th minute before Gonçalo Borges equalised for Feyenoord with an assist by Anel Ahmedhodzic.
Feyenoord’s Luciano Valente was sent off in the 75th minute.
The result saw FC Twente’s seventh game in a row without defeat.
It leaves FC Twente in sixth place and that Feyenoord are in second place.
