A Sunday night to remember for Espanyol in the La Liga as they dominated on home soil against Osasuna, claiming a commanding 1-0 victory and securing all three points on RCDE Stadium.
The first half was goalless, but straight after half-time, Carlos Romero made his mark as he netted to give Espanyol the lead.
It leaves Espanyol in fifth place and that Osasuna are in 13th place.
Espanyol’s next La Liga games are against Mallorca (home) on 15 September, Real Madrid (away) on 21 September and Valencia (home) on 24 September. Osasuna play Rayo Vallecano (home) on 14 September, Villarreal (away) on 21 September and Elche (home) on 24 September.
