Duel Ends in a Point Apiece for Brentford and Manchester City!

A football drama unfolded at Brentford as they entertained Manchester City in the Premier League, the clash concluding in a 2-2 draw.

Brentford’s next Premier League games are against Liverpool (home) on 18 January, Crystal Palace (away) on 26 January and Tottenham Hotspur (home) on 2 February. Manchester City play Ipswich Town (away) on 19 January, Chelsea (home) on 25 January and Arsenal (away) on 2 February.

P. Foden again increased Manchester City’s lead in the 78th minute.

Eight minutes left to play, Brentford’s Yoane Wissa reduced, with an assist by Mads Roerslev.

The equaliser came in extra time, when C. Nørgaard found the net for Brentford, with an assist by Keane Lewis-Potter.

The first half finished 0-0 and it took until the 66th minute before P. Foden netted, with an assist by Kevin De Bruyne, to give Manchester City the lead.

The result leaves Brentford in 10th place, while Manchester City are in sixth place.
