In Saturday’s Premier League showdown, Brentford emerged triumphant with a 3-2 victory over AFC Bournemouth on home turf.
AFC Bournemouth started the match best and took the lead when Evanilson netted in the 17th minute, making it 1-0.
Brentford equalised to make it 1-1, when Yoane Wissa found the net, in the 27th minute.
Straight after the break, J. Kluivert made his mark and gave AFC Bournemouth the lead again.
In the 50th minute, M. Damsgaard equalised for Brentford, with an assist by Bryan Mbeumo.
With 58 minutes on the clock, Brentford’s Yoane Wissa found the net following a Vitaly Janelt assist to seal the win to complete Brentford’s come back.
Looking at the table, we find Brentford in 10th place, while AFC Bournemouth are 11th in the league.
Brentford play Everton on 23 November, Leicester City on 30 November and Aston Villa (away) on 4 December. AFC Bournemouth’s next opponents are Brighton & Hove Albion on 23 November, Wolverhampton Wanderers on 30 November and Tottenham Hotspur (home) on 5 December.
