Double Trouble: De Ketelaere’s Goals Secure Atalanta’s Win Over Lecce

Charles De Ketelaere increased the lead in the 73rd minute.

In Sunday’s Serie A showdown, Atalanta emerged triumphant with a 4-1 victory over Lecce on home turf.

The match was even in terms of goals until Atalanta took the lead in the 37th minute through Giorgio Scalvini, who netted, with an assist by Nicola Zalewski.

Straight after the break, Charles De Ketelaere found the net and increased the team’s lead.

In the 70th minute, Nicola Zalewski increased the lead for Atalanta, with an assist by Nikola Krstović.

Eight minutes left to play, Lecce’s Konan N’Dri reduced, with an assist by Danilo Veiga.

The result means Atalanta are now in seventh place in the table and that Lecce are last, in 20th place.

Atalanta play Torino on 21 September, Juventus on 27 September and Como (home) on 4 October. Lecce’s next opponents are Cagliari on 19 September, Bologna on 28 September and Parma (away) on 4 October.
