In the beginning of the game, Girona led with 0-1, but Celta de Vigo surged back to win. The final score after the La Liga game was 2-1.
It was Vladyslav Vanat who opened the scoring for Girona in the 35th minute of the goalless match, with an assist by Axel Witsel.
With 58 minutes on the clock, Celta de Vigo’s Ferran Jutglà found the net following a Óscar Mingueza assist to equalise.
1-2 came through an own-goal in the 70th minute, which was the final result.
It leaves Girona in 12th place and that Celta de Vigo are in sixth place.
