Brentford and Chelsea Battle to a Point Each!

In a Premier League drama, Brentford and Chelsea battled it out in a 2-2 draw, with neither side willing to back down.

Brentford took the lead in the 35th minute thanks to a goal by Kevin Schade, with an assist by Jordan Henderson, ending the goalless stretch.

With 61 minutes on the clock, Chelsea’s Cole Palmer  found the net following a João Pedro assist to equalise.

With only five minutes left to play, Chelsea’s Moisés Caicedo took the lead.

The equaliser came in extra time, when Fábio Carvalho netted for Brentford, with an assist by Kristoffer Ajer.

The result means Brentford are now in 12th place in the table and that Chelsea are fifth in the league.

Brentford play Fulham on 20 September, Manchester United on 27 September and Manchester City (home) on 5 October. Chelsea’s next opponents are Manchester United on 20 September, Brighton & Hove Albion on 27 September and Liverpool (home) on 4 October.
