Brentford triumphed with a 4-3 win over Ipswich Town in Saturday’s Premier League clash on home turf at Brentford Community Stadium.
S. Szmodics scored in the 28th minute, with an assist by George Hirst, to give Ipswich Town the lead in a previously goalless match.
In the 31st minute George Hirst increased the lead for Ipswich Town with an assist by Conor Chaplin.
Brentford’s Yoane Wissa made it 2-1 in the 44th minute as he netted, with an assist by Vitaly Janelt.
2-2 came through an own-goal in the 45th minute.
Straight after the break, Bryan Mbeumo scored and gave the team the lead.
Ipswich Town’s Harry Clarke was sent off in the 69th minute.
The equaliser came in the final minutes, when Liam Delap found the net for Ipswich Town, with an assist by Leif Davis.
The deciding goal came in extra time, when Bryan Mbeumo made his mark scoring for Brentford, with an assist by Mads Roerslev.
It was Ipswich Town’s ninth game in a row without a win.
It leaves Brentford in ninth place and that Ipswich Town are in 17th place.
