In the World Cup, Bosnia and Herzegovina secured a 3-1 victory at Seattle Stadium over Qatar. The match saw a 2-1 scoreline at halftime before Bosnia and Herzegovina clinched the win.
There was no real shape to the match until Bosnia and Herzegovina took the lead just before the half-hour mark through Kerim Alajbegovic who got on the scoresheet played in by Ivan Basic making it 1-0.
2-0 came through an own-goal in the 34th minute.
Qatar reduced the score to 2-1 just before the half-time whistle as Hasan Al-Haydos converted with an assist by Edmílson Junior.
Ermin Mahmic increased Bosnia and Herzegovina’s lead with an assist by Dennis Hadzikadunic in the 80th minute.
