The result means Bologna are now in sixth place in the table and that Milan are eighth in the league.

In the beginning of the game, Milan led with 0-1, but Bologna surged back to win. The final score after the Serie A game was 2-1.

Milan took the lead just before half time when Rafael Leão netted, with an assist by Santiago Giménez.

The next Serie A games for Bologna are Cagliari (home) on 2 March, Hellas Verona (away) on 9 March and Lazio (home) on 16 March. Milan play Lazio (home) on 2 March, Lecce (away) on 8 March and Como (home) on 15 March.

Straight after the break, Santiago Castro found the net and equalised for Bologna.

With eight minutes left to play, Bologna’s Dan Ndoye scored the decider, with an assist by Nicolò Cambiaghi, to complete Bologna’s come back.

The win over Milan means that Bologna have four at home wins in a row.
