Juventus faced a challenge when they visited Atalanta in the Serie A, and the encounter lived up to expectations, concluding in a 1-1 draw.
Mateo Retegui equalised for Atalanta with an assist by R. Bellanova, in the 78th minute.
The first half finished 0-0 and it took until the 54th minute before Pierre Kalulu netted, with an assist by Weston McKennie, to give Juventus the lead.
The result means that Atalanta have taken points in 15 straight games.
Atalanta remains in third place and Juventus is in fifth.
Atalanta’s next Serie A games are against Napoli (home) on 18 January, Como (away) on 25 January and Torino (home) on 1 February. Juventus play Milan (home) on 18 January, Napoli (away) on 25 January and Empoli (home) on 2 February.
