Algeria play Switzerland on 3 July. Austria’s next opponent is Spain on 2 July.
Algeria and Austria played to a 3-3 draw in the World Cup game following a 1-1 first half at Kansas City Stadium.
There was no real shape to the match until Austria took the lead just before the half-hour mark through Marko Arnautovic who netted set up by David Alaba making it 0-1.
Algeria equalised 1-1 just before the half-time whistle as Rafik Belghali converted after a feed from Riyad Mahrez.
In the 55th minute Marcel Sabitzer gave Austria the lead with an assist by Konrad Laimer.
With 60 minutes on the clock Algeria’s Riyad Mahrez found the net following a Houssem Aouar assist to equalise.
The 3-2 goal to take the lead came in extra time when Riyad Mahrez scored for Algeria played in by Houssem Aouar.
But Austria still had time to score an equaliser. Sasa Kalajdzic scored in the 90th minute assisted by Michael Gregoritsch.
