Croatia emerged victorious over Ghana at Philadelphia Stadium in World Cup. The game ended 2-1, after 1-0 in the first half.
It was 0-0 until Croatia took the lead just after the half-hour mark through Petar Sučić who got on the scoresheet assisted by Mateo Kovacic making it 1-0.
It took until the 73rd minute before Derrick Luckassen equalised for Ghana with an assist by Ernest Nuamah.
With seven minutes left to play Croatia’s Nikola Vlašić scored the decider set up by Luka Modrić.
