League leaders Arsenal continue to impress. With a 4-1 win away against Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal recorded yet another victory. This means the team has extended their lead in the Premier League and the gap to second placed Manchester City is now five points. Tottenham Hotspur are in 16th place in the league.
Tottenham Hotspur equalised to make it 1-1, as Randal Kolo Muani found the net, just two minutes later later.
The match was even in terms of goals until Arsenal took the lead in the 32nd minute through Eberechi Eze, who netted, with an assist by Bukayo Saka.
Straight after the break, Viktor Gyökeres scored and gave Arsenal the lead again.
Tottenham Hotspur play Fulham on 1 March, Crystal Palace on 5 March and Liverpool (away) on 15 March. Arsenal’s next opponents are Chelsea on 1 March, Brighton & Hove Albion on 4 March and Everton (home) on 15 March.
In the 61st minute, Eberechi Eze increased the lead for Arsenal.
The 4-1 goal came in stoppage time, when Viktor Gyökeres scored for Arsenal, with an assist by Martin Ødegaard.
The result means the ninth game in a row without a win for Tottenham Hotspur.
