SC Heerenveen showcased their attacking prowess as they netted three goals in the Eredivisie encounter against Heracles Almelo at Asito Stadion. The away side cruised to a convincing 3-0 victory, leaving Heracles Almelo unable to find the back of the net.

The first half finished 0-0 and it took until the 55th minute before Jacob Trenskow netted, with an assist by Dylan Vente, to give SC Heerenveen the lead.

Vasilios Zagaritis increased SC Heerenveen’s lead with an assist by Maxence Rivera, in the 77th minute.

SC Heerenveen further increased the lead as Maxence Rivera made his mark with a penalty in the 90th minute.

The result means the fourth game in a row without a win for Heracles Almelo.

Heracles Almelo’s next Eredivisie games are against Sparta Rotterdam (away) on 11 January, Heracles Almelo (home) on 18 January and Feyenoord (away) on 25 January. SC Heerenveen play Feyenoord (home) on 11 January, FC Groningen (home) on 18 January and Go Ahead Eagles (away) on 25 January.

It leaves Heracles Almelo in 17th place and that SC Heerenveen are in ninth place.
