A football drama unfolded at Sassuolo as they entertained Pisa in the Serie A, the clash concluding in a 2-2 draw.
Pisa chocked Sassuolo when M’Bala Nzola scored a penalty in the fourth minute.
Sassuolo equalised to 1-1 early in the match when Nemanja Matic made his mark as he netted just two minutes later later.
With only nine minutes left to play, Pisa’s Henrik Meister took the lead, with an assist by Stefano Moreo.
The equaliser came in stoppage time, when Kristian Thorstvedt found the net for Sassuolo, with an assist by Cristian Volpato.
The result leaves Pisa in 16th place, while Sassuolo are in ninth place.
Sassuolo play Como on 28 November, Fiorentina on 6 December and Milan (away) on 14 December. Pisa’s next opponents are Inter on 30 November, Parma on 8 December and Lecce (away) on 12 December.
