In a pulsating Premier League duel, Crystal Palace entertained AFC Bournemouth, sharing the points in a captivating 3-3 draw.
AFC Bournemouth started the match best and took the lead when Eli Kroupi netted after 7 minutes, making it 1-0.
In the 38th minute Eli Kroupi increased the lead for AFC Bournemouth.
With 64 minutes on the clock, Crystal Palace’s Jean-Philippe Mateta found the net following a Daniel Muñoz assist to pull one back for Crystal Palace.
The 3-2 goal to take the lead came in the final minutes, when Ryan Christie found the net for AFC Bournemouth, with an assist by Marcus Tavernier.
But Crystal Palace still had time to score an equaliser. Jean-Philippe Mateta scored in the 90th minute, and with this completed his hattrick.
It means that AFC Bournemouth find themselves undefeated for the seventh game running.
It leaves Crystal Palace in ninth place and that AFC Bournemouth are in fourth place.
“I’m so proud of the performance today. Not just the result, but how we played and how many chances we created,” Crystal Palace’s Oliver Glasner said in a post-match interview.
“Credit to Bournemouth, they were so ruthless today. Every chance was a goal. The mentality of our team, the way we played, and the problems we caused them. I’ve watched many of Bournemouth’s games this season and I don’t think many teams have caused them this amount of problems,” he added.
