Mallorca’s Vedat Muriqi made it 2-1 in the 45th minute as he made his mark with a penalty.
In the 65th minute, Vedat Muriqi equalised for Mallorca, with an assist by Sergi Darder.
With nine minutes left to play, Espanyol’s Kike García scored the decider.
It was Mallorca’s fourth game in a row without a win.
Espanyol are in third place after the game, while Mallorca are in 19th.
